Let Your CHI Out – ’47 x Champ Sports State Street Activation

CHALLENGE

Create a unique activation that taps into the Chicago based sports + lifestyle consumer and highlight the city's creative community and promotes the idea that an artist can make it in whatever place they call home.

PROCESS

Track Marketing created an interactive in-store photo gallery experience at Champ's Sports' Chicago Flagship, we celebrated their fall product line alongside renowned Chicago photographers and artists, bringing to life a gallery of both photography, artwork, and the '47 product.

We partnered with @Trashhand (570k followers) and @Swopes (272k followers) to bring to life an ongoing gallery of their Chicago and sports related photography, and host a weekend event with Secret Walls, a 90 minute live art battle between the best of the street artists in the Chicago area.

As we looked through the works of @trashhand and @swopes, we found our inspiration - they are street photographers and in order to capture their images they must climb buildings, or crawl into subway tunnels and access points that are off-limits to the rest of us. This physicality was exactly what we needed to explore to make the gallery special.
